Intermediate Workshop Session 2, 6.6.24
THURSDAY, 6.6., 19:00-21:00
SESSION 2: SPONTANEITY & FLOW
19:00-20:30 COACHED
20:30-21:00 OPEN SKATE & CYPHER
Mixing & Combining Moves, Versatility, App Intro, “Flow Choreo”
In this session we will focus on combining the moves you are working on in new ways. Sometimes we have a lot of skills and moves, but we always put the moves together in the same way. Let’s try something new! We’ll use some fun individual and group exercises as well as a flashcard concept to practice versatility! Coach Jess will introduce an app she has been working on that can help you with this type of exercise. After working on “getting comfortable being uncomfortable” for a while, we end with a calming flow choreo – nice n’ smooth! After the 90-minute coached workshop, there is an open skate and cypher session for everyone who wants to prove themselves in the middle.
*You should already be proficient in the following skills: Dribbles, stand/ride securly on one leg, ein a smooth “Downtown“, a decent “Crazy Legs“ and confidently skate forwards and a little backwards.
This workshop is for adults (aged 18 and over).
